(Julian Haart Piesporter Schubertslay Riesling Spätlese) AP: 15 15. Still marked by sulfur and reduction at this early stage, this marvelous wine delivers grandiose scents of ripe passion fruit and grapefruit on the nose. These give way to a gorgeously filigreed and multi-layered feel on the still quite rich mid-palate. The finish is airy and loaded with ripe scents of fruits and flowers. This incredibly refined beauty drinks already beautiful well now but will turn into a truly great wine when the aromatics will have sharpened up and gained in focus at maturity. 2024-2044
