Bollinger Grande Anneé 2008

/ #7073948
Size: 750 ml (Standard)
White

Top vintage Bollinger La Grande Anneé 2008 - the best since '96! Great taste and fullness
- The grapes are 71% Pinot Noir and 29% Chardonnay
- It was bought for my private collection in 2019 and has been stored since in a wine cellar with a temperature of 14 degrees. As shown, there is a small stain on the label but otherwise in perfect condition!

Bollinger only produces Champagne La Grande Année in the most exceptional years. The first fermentation of the wine takes place in oak barrels and the subsequent bottle storage takes place in a bottle with a cork. The large proportion of Pinot Noir gives the wine colossal power and fullness, and the distinguished origin of the grapes explains the fantastic complexity and the superb storage potential. The vinification takes place exclusively on small oak barrels, which are on average 20 years old. The grapes come exclusively from Grand Cru and 1st Cru vineyards from Montange de Reims and Côte des Blancs.

2008 is the best vintage in Champagne since 1996. The wine has an endearing bouquet of white flowers, citrus fruits and spices, the taste is abysmal complex, with a slightly creamy structure and ends very nicely whitewashed and mineral with a touch of salt, the aftertaste lasts more minutes! La Grande Année 2008 has a very large storage potential.
