Von Winningen GG 2017

Here is the opportunity to nerd COMPLETELY. All the GGs and the 2 1st stocks, which regularly go as the best not just in the Palatinate, but in the whole D. The main theme at VW is "Hefelage" and "Holz". He was one of the pioneers in letting the wine lie on the yeast for up to 24 months. It soon became the standard for the great German GGs. It does not give some sturdy Rieslings not unlike large barrel-aged Chablis, so you have to like the slightly "fat" style.
If you can, it is world-class wine that has laaaaang durability. Prices are also rising here!
The wines are stored in temp. controlled basement since purchase.
PS: Ortswein Deidesheim is a "starter and 0-position wine" for a good evening! Remember they should not be served too cold. About 12 degrees is perfect.
