Latest CT note: Impressive nose of various floral, dark fruits; silky, juicy and elegant palate with many minerals. A lovely wine to enjoy now.
Pierre Duroché belongs to the absolute elite in Gevrey-Chambertin and his wines are therefore almost impossible to obtain. I have kept the bottles from a 12-pack in a wine fridge since release. Perfect condition. The incipient maturity is slowly opening the wine's drinking window, but there is also still good aging potential.
