Domaine Berthaut-Gerbet, Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru 2016

CT-note: Beautiful glowing, medium ruby color. Clean, intense nose with a lot of fine red fruit, some herbs and wonderfully balanced. On the palate beautiful lively acidity, 13,5% abv, high, fine and velvet tannin. Lots of ripe red fruit, oak beautifully integrated as a solid backbone and giving the wine a wonderful texture. Very pure and mineral. It is all about balance and elegance. Long finish. Acquired on release and since then stored in my Liebherr wine cabinet at optimal temperature and humidity. Perfect provenance, fill and labels.
