Sammarco is one of Tuscany's best blends of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese. The wine appears impressively dense and dark in the glass. The aroma is rich with sweet blackcurrant, prune and cedar wood, as well as an appetizing touch of vanilla. The taste is solidly structured, with perfectly ripe tannins, intense youthful fruit and a delicate aftertaste of cherry stones. An impressively harmonious wine, whose rarity is its only flaw.
