Giuseppe Mascarello, Barolo Monprivato 2001

CT-note (96 p): Structured and classically proportioned, deep and broad with terrific balance. It's interesting as the last bottle I had was in prime time, this is just the previews. Based on my last two bottles, I'd say this wine is at a youthful peak. Super either way.. Stored in my Liebherr wine cabinet since I acquired a six-pack at release. Good provenance and fill. Cork and labels in perfect conditions. Window for consumption has opened, but there is still a solid potential for further improvement.
