Valenciso Reserva Rioja 2007

Aged for a minimum of 1 year in Oak and 2 Years in bottle to get the designation of Reserva. On the nose, lots of Strawberries, cherries, and a little toasty vanilla note. Liquorice and violets come through on the palate. High tannins and big mouth feel with a lingering finish that ends with a baking spice finish. Caramel flavours are very apparent because of the age. Give it a 4 hour decant and it's magical.
