Jean-Yves Bizot is one of the best Vigneron in France. The Domaine Bizot owns approximately 5 hectares of vineyards, all located in the Côte de Nuits, and produces around 2,500 cases of wine per year. The vines are grown biodynamically using environmentally friendly viticulture methods only. The estate's wine is considered to be of high quality, often compared to other great Burgundy wines, such as those made by the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti or the Domaine Leroy. Jean-Yves's wines are characterized by their complexity, elegance, and excellent aging potential. The production of this Chardonnay is very limited, around 410 bottles in 2017 as indicated in the retro label and the result is a very regal expression from such a classic appellation. Simply stunning
