Only the best chateaux in St. Emilion are allowed to put 'Classé' after 'Grand Cru' - a title that Chateau Pressac received in 2012. It is the result of hard work to bring the chateau into the best category by the current owners, the Quenin family, who took over the chateau in 1997. And the result is a completely classic Merlot-dominated Bordeaux, which in the best vintages can be stored for between 10 and 20 years. 2016 is a beautiful vintage that will be obvious to leave for another couple of years. Serve at 15-18°C in regular red wine glasses. Drink with classic cuisine with red meat, mushrooms and sauce - for example a Beef Wellington.
