Baron Edmond de Rothschild Flechas De Los Andes Gran Malbec 2020 at full 14.5% is completely deep red in the glass with hints of violet tinge. The nose is expressive, dominated by fruity aromas of plums, cherries and violet flower aromas characteristic of Malbec from Uco. The attack is round with fine, polished and dense tannins that give a magnificent taste experience. The mineral character, the freshness, the subtle contribution of the oak and its long finish make this wine an example of quality, elegance and excellence. Here you get a fantastic taste experience. Remember to decant this red wine an hour before serving.
The incredibly beautiful vineyard is run today by Benjamin de Rothschild and Laurent Dassault. Their goal was to create a New World "grand cru", an outstanding Argentine wine, from this little-known but remarkable terroir at the foot of the Andes Mountains. The high potential of this region was first identified by oenologist Michel Rolland, who launched the «Clos de Los Siete» project. It is the winemaker Pablo Richardi who is responsible for presenting the delicious wines. Curious and open-minded, Pablo has experience at several great Bordeaux estates, including Château Cos l'Eglise in Pomerol, Château Dassault in Saint-Emilion, Château Clarke in Listrac, and has even taken a detour around Napa Valley at the Quintessa Estate.
