Gewurztraminer “Cuvee des Seigneurs de Ribeaupierre” Trimbach 2015
Trimbach is a legend in Alsace and probably needs no further description.
The grapes for this wine come from old vines on the Trimbach fields behind the house in Rineauville.
The Trottacker and Osterberg fields were previously owned by the Lord of Ribeaupierre, hence the name.
The wine is round, dense and fruity and goes well with foie gras, spicy/spicy/sour-sweet and cheeses.
Xavier Wymann Pinot Noir Champs de Pierres 2018

Gewurztraminer Reserve Personnelle Selection de Grains Nobles Cuvee Jeremy

Zind-Humbrecht Riesling Brand Grand Cru 2014
Stands at 800 from the Danish importer in the latest vintage. Note that an 18 is also for sale, so you can make a small horizontal :)
Zind-Humbrecht's second largest riesling.
Zind Humbrecht Clos Windsbuhl SGN Selection Grains Nobles Pinot Gris 2010
In most vintages, Clos Windsbuhl, Zind-Humbrecht's coolest field, is too cold to create sufficient concentration to make noble dessert wines. But not in 2010, when a zealous selection of individual grapes created this masterpiece with 269 grams of residual sugar and towering acidity. These are trockenbeerenauslese figures we are talking about here. It tastes absolutely fantastic and dessert wine simply doesn't get any better.
Stored in a wine fridge. The bottle is very dark in the picture, but it is not in reality :)
Zind-Humbrecht Riesling Brand Grand Cru 2018

Map of Domaine Weinbach
Weinbach is one of the oldest wineries in Alsace, whose history dates back to the year 800!! The Faller family is one of the best producers in Alsace and belongs to a small elite, having been awarded a magical 100 points by both Robert Parker and James Suckling. All cultivation is organically certified and from 2010 all their wines are also biodynamically certified, and very few producers can match the quality Weinbach delivers.
History
Domaine Weibach is managed by Catherine Faller and her son Thèo, who is also a winemaker. The domaine is located in Kayserberg in the heart of Alsace. The property is actually a castle, which can be dated back to before the year 800! It is surrounded by an area, the Clos des Capucins, which took its name from the Capuchin monks who lived on the property until the French Revolution.
Some of the world's most intensive wines
The Weinbach wines stand in stark stylistic contrast to other wines in Alsace. Instead of focusing on power and fruity sweetness, the domaine wines are incredibly intensive and elegant. They are also extremely suitable for storage and with age they acquire distinct, mineral-like flavours. The land holdings are simply sublime: Schlossberg (8 acres!), Furstentum and Mambourg are all three Grand Cru areas. The last two areas, Clos des Capucins and Altenbourg, are not Grand Cru classified, but experts agree they should be!
Sustainability
Domaine Weinbach's vineyards have been organically certified for many years and since 2010 all wines are also biodynamically certified.
