Chateau Rouget Pomerol, which dates back to the 1700s, is a neighbor to Ch. Petrus, Ch. Eglise Clinet and Ch. La Gay. It is made from 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc vines with an average age of 40 years. The castle has been owned by the well-known Labruyère family since 1992. The wine is purchased directly from the castle and has been in wine storage since the acquisition.
