DESCRIPTION
In addition to the aroma of dried apricots, the nose also carries honey-like notes with hints of beeswax. Apricots are present in the taste, where dried melons and mangoes also come into strong focus. The wine has a very fine balance between acid and sugar, which gives a long and pleasant aftertaste.

Terroir
Mezőzombor – Galambo's vineyard
The soil is typically brown forest soil, but there are also areas of loess. The subsoil consists of rhyolite, which is almost completely covered by rhyolite tuff.

Tarcal – Terézia vineyard
The soil is an optimal mix of loess and brown forest soil, with a subsoil similar to Galambos, but resting on a perlite cone.

HARVEST
The botrytized Aszú berries were hand-picked in mid-November.

TECHNOLOGY
24 hours of maceration of the Aszú berries were followed by slow and gentle pressing. Fermentation was carried out with selected yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine was aged for 24 months in oak barrels that had been used two or three times previously.

GROWTH CYCLE
The spring was difficult at the beginning due to colder than normal weather. The high amounts of precipitation in July and August required increased attention from the winegrowers. Despite the challenges, we managed to protect our vineyards with organic methods. The wet weather enabled the production of a wine with strong acidity and great body.
