Despite the less favorable vintage of 1984, where cool and damp weather made maturation difficult, a certain characteristic stringency and finesse is maintained, which characterizes the Château.
Although 1984 is not considered a great year for Bordeaux, bottles from this chateau can still deliver classic Latour style experiences with underlying notes of tobacco, cedar and ripe dark berries. The wine was originally intended for longer aging, but many examples will now be at or just past the peak of development.
