Wine Spectator gave it 92 points and described it as "elegant and precise, with notes of cherry, raspberry and spice, supported by a firm structure and a long, delicate finish." Decanter gave 91 points and described it as "a lively and fruity Gevrey-Chambertin, with notes of cherry, plum and spices. The taste is soft and full-bodied, with nice tannins and a nice minerality." Burghound awarded 90 points and described it as "smooth and well-balanced, with notes of red berries, spice and a nice minerality. The tannins are fine and polished and the wine will develop further in the coming years."
