Domaine Petit-Roy is located in Chorey-Les-Beaune, in Burgundy. The estate is owned by Seiichi Wang. He grew up in Japan and became interested in viticulture from the age of 22. He did an internship in a local domain in 2005 then left Japan to deepen his knowledge of wine in several prestigious domains and followed a training course in Beaune. He decided to stay in France and created the restaurant La Lune in Beaune to finally launch, in 2006, the Domaine Petit-Roy. He works 2.1 hectares of vines cultivated in non-certified biodynamic agriculture.

Most of his red wines are vinified in whole bunches. For the ageing, he does not use any new oak to avoid any marking by the wood. He still simply carries out a light sulphiting during aging to avoid any aromatic deviance.
