Old Rip Van Winkle 'Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve' 20 Year Old

I bought it from a collector in 2014

Condition: Both the bag and the bottle are in good condition. Since the bottle has stood up in the bag, there are imprints from the bottle at the bottom of the bag.

Age:
It is the one distilled in Frankfort, K.Y. - ie. it can be from 2002 at the earliest. In addition, the writing "Pappy Van Winkle`s Family Reserve" is highlighted so you can feel it with your fingers (can also be seen in the pictures) and it was done until 2006. All in all, my assessment is that it is bottled in the period from 2002-06. Further as I can not find "dot codes", "laser codes" - it started to be used in 2007. This whiskey has won many awards. The 20-year-old edition was first published in 1994 and a 99-point review (for the first time in BTI's history) from BTI in 1996 helped put it on the map. Wine Enthusiast has given it 99/100, World Spirits Championship has named it the best bourbon in the world with 99/100.
