A beautiful deep golden color, sumptuous bouquet of fruit and honey, very sweet but with good acidity behind, Actually perfect now, but of course extremely durable. Spätlese is late harvest, Auslese are selected clusters, while Beerenauslese are selected berries - and Trockenbeeren are selected dried berries.
Harvested extremely late when the grapes are approaching raisins and the must has a potential alcohol% of 21% -minimum! The fermentation is extremely heavy and slow, and the wine stops the fermentation at approx. 10.5% with residual sugar of just over 150 g / l + fairly high acidity. The grapes are silvaner, kernels and optima.
