Maison De Grand Esprit La Mysteriale Santenay Premier Cru is a red wine from the Burgundy region of France, specifically from the Santenay appellation, which is known for producing some of the finest Pinot Noir wines.

Tasting notes: This Premier Cru wine exudes elegance with a beautiful ruby red color. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of red berries such as cherries and raspberries, combined with subtle notes of forest floor, spices and a light hint of vanilla, which comes from the barrel aging. On the palate, it is delicate with silky tannins, a fine acidity and a well-balanced structure. The finish is long and gives a pleasant sensation of ripe fruit and spicy undertones.

Production: La Mysteriale Santenay Premier Cru is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Premier Cru vineyards, giving the wine its high quality and complexity. The character of the wine reflects the terroir of Santenay, where the limestone and clay soils provide finesse and minerality. Aged for 6-8 months in French oak barrels.

This wine is ideal for accompanying elegant dishes such as poultry, game or mushroom-based dishes, but it can also be enjoyed alone for its purity and finesse.

Australian Penfold's, which is one of the absolute best producers in Australia, made a project in France years ago. The Mysteriale Series. The idea was, with Penfold's know-how, to produce wines of particularly high quality, based on the individual wine region. All sails were set and expectations were high. It was decided to invest in several wine regions, such as Burgundy, Chateauneuf Du Pape, Saint Emilion Grand Cru, Champagne, etc.

The wines were widely advertised in France, including in the better restaurants, in tax-free airports, etc. After a few years, Penfold's "threw in the towel" - French wine enthusiasts did not accept "French" wine, with Australian origins. The exclusive project was shelved and the last wines were sold out - to the great joy of wine lovers in Denmark. Wines in a special class!
