Chardonnay from the lieu-dit Les Pins in Pernand-Vergelesses. The vineyard is located high (200-350m above sea level) and is south-east oriented with limestone in the subsoil.
Francoise Andre was named winemaker of the year in 2023 in the Guide Hachette des Vins, and has undergone rapid development since her daughter-in-law Lauriane André took over in 2010, with 2022 also receiving rave reviews from Winehog.
The wines are certified organically grown, and the cellar regime is minimal intervention with a minor degree of new barrels.
Manual harvesting and selection, natural fermentation and a smaller proportion of new barrels in the aging process.
Perfect bottles and always stored properly.
