From one of the most respected producers in the Côte de Nuits, this 1er Cru comes from the Aux Murgers vineyard, located close to the border with Vosne-Romanée. 2011 is a classic vintage with a focus on elegance over power, and the wine shows ripe red berries, spice and a slight animalic note. The texture is soft with rounded tannins and good length. A refined and ready-to-drink wine that combines the structure of Nuits-Saint-Georges with Vosne-like finesse.
