Flaccianello receives minimal treatments in the cellar, according to a production philosophy perfectly consistent with the line taken in the vineyard, characterized by a high manual selection of the best grapes: only spontaneous fermentations are carried out with indigenous yeasts, capable of highly enhancing the terroir of origin, while the final refinement in Allier barriques gives roundness without masking the fundamental characteristics of the product. These are the peculiarities that have made Flaccianello di Fontodi one of the reference wines for quality viticulture in Chianti over time.
Very intense and structured red wine, soft and well-balanced, rich in fruity aromas, with a long and persistent finish, aged for 18 years in barrique.
