Single-vineyard wine from Sassi. The San Cristoforo vineyard is the highest point in Barbaresco DOCG. Several talented producers make wine in this part of Neive (the largest municipality in Barbaresco). Winemaker Davidé was previously employed by Angelo Gaja. The 2016 vintage is one of the best since 2013. 18 months in barrels. The wine is ready to drink, but will keep for another five to ten years.
Stored in a wine cooler and is in perfect condition.
