Altesinos Montosoli is one of the most iconic single-vineyard Brunellos from Montalcino, and is considered by many to be one of the area's first and finest cru wines. The Montosoli hill north of the town of Montalcino is famous for its complex soils and elevated position, which gives it exceptional finesse and aromatic precision.
Combining classic Sangiovese character with ripe fruit and finesse, it is both collectible and ready to drink. It can easily develop further over the next 5–10 years.
