Barolo from Cossetti marks a classic interpretation of the appellation from the mid-20th century. Barolo is made from Nebbiolo, and from 1964 the bottle bears witness to a traditional approach to vinification that was prevalent at the time. The Piedmont region and the 1964 vintage in particular are considered among the better ones of the decade, when weather conditions generally favoured a balanced and finesse style with the ability to mature for a long time.
