Château Bellevue is a Grand Cru Classé wine estate in Saint-Émilion,
producing red wine from the Merlot grape variety. The estate is jointly overseen by the Pradel de Lavaux and Boüard de Laforest families. Since 2007, the wines are made by the team at Hubert de Boüard de Laforest's Château Angélus winery, which lies a stone's throw to the south of the Bellevue property.
The château building is a former 17th Century Carthusian monastery site once belonging to the Lacaze family. Through a succession of Lacazes, it was inherited in the mid twentieth Century by a first cousin of the family, Louis Horeau, who took over the property in 1938.
