Lanson - Noble Cuvee 2002

Disgorged in 2017. So almost 15 years on the yeast and subsequently 6 years on the cork. Tastes great now and full of life and bubbles - still has a few years before the tertiary notes come.

Richard Juhlin writes about it (in 2022) and gives 94(95) points: Unexpectedly almost fully mature already at the age of 20. A great depth and rounded generosity. Less smoky and roasted than older vintages but nicely airy and balanced fruity with a colossal breadth of fruit from tough citrus to Gravenstein apples via a velvety layer of apricot and peach.
