The vines are pruned using the double Guyot method. Secondary vines are removed and the grapes are harvested green to ensure a small harvest. The grapes are hand-picked into small crates before being transferred to the winery.
CHÂTEAU TEYSSIER is hand-harvested in the green to ensure concentration. The grapes are sorted, first by bunch, then, after destemming, grape by grape. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks after a cold maceration. The wines are aged in French oak, a quarter of which is new.
