Château Greysac-vingården strækker sig over Hameau de By, en af de nordligste Médoc-vinregioner på denne vinproducerende halvø, hvor flodmundingen og Atlanterhavet mødes. Vingården er omhyggeligt forvaltet og kan prale af upåklagelige kvalitetsstandarder. Druerne Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc og Petit Verdot, der er sammensat af rullede småsten fra kvartærperioden på en undergrund af kalksten og ler, giver her anledning til en storslået, elegant og ekstraordinært struktureret vin med rigelige, frodige frugtaromaer.
Greysac-vingårdens århundredgamle historie fortælles derefter gennem vinfremstillingskunsten med det formål at afsløre frugten i sit smukkeste udtryk, fra dens ankomst i gæringstankene til dens passage i tønderne for lagring i 12 måneder.
Fra en tidligere samlerkælder, under konstant temperatur- og fugtighedskontrol, er produktet i virkelig UPÅKLAKelig stand og er en sand juvel for kendere og samlere.
Smagsnote: En saftig rødvin med aromaer og smage af solbær, mørk blomme og lys chokolade. Endda et strejf af bark. Nogle ristede noter, friske frugtnoter, der blander røde og mørke bær, et strejf af tobak og en medium fylde, men med tæt frugt, cremede, modne tanniner, en frisk rygrad og god længde i en klassisk Médoc-profil, der er lagringsværdig.

The Château Greysac vineyard extends across the Hameau de By, one of the northernmost Médoc wine regions on this wine-producing peninsula, at the confluence of the estuary and the Atlantic Ocean. The vineyard is meticulously managed and boasts impeccable quality standards. Composed of rolled pebbles dating back to the Quaternary period on a limestone and clay subsoil, the Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot grape varieties here give rise to a magnificent, elegant, and extraordinarily structured wine, with ample, voluptuous fruit aromas.
The century-old history of the Greysac winery is then told through the art of winemaking, with the aim of revealing the fruit in its most beautiful expression, from its arrival in the fermentation vats to its passage in the barrels for aging for 12 months.
From a former collector's cellar, under constant temperature and humidity control, the product is in truly IMPECCABLE condition and is a true jewel for connoisseurs and collectors themselves.
Tasting note: A juicy red with aromas and flavors of blackcurrant, dark plum, and light chocolate. Even a hint of bark. Some toasted notes, fresh fruit notes blending red and dark berries, a hint of tobacco, and a medium body, but with dense fruit, creamy, ripe tannins, a fresh backbone, and good length in a classic Médoc profile worthy of cellaring.

Le vignoble du Château Greysac s'étend sur le Hameau de By, l'une des régions viticoles les plus septentrionales du Médoc, à la confluence de l'estuaire et de l'océan Atlantique. Cultivé avec une grande rigueur, ce vignoble affiche une qualité irréprochable. Composé de galets roulés datant du Quaternaire, sur un sous-sol argilo-calcaire, il donne naissance, grâce aux cépages Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc et Petit Verdot, à un vin magnifique, élégant et d'une structure exceptionnelle, aux arômes fruités amples et voluptueux.
L'histoire centenaire du domaine viticole Greysac est ensuite racontée à travers l'art de la vinification, dans le but de révéler le fruit dans sa plus belle expression, depuis son arrivée dans les cuves de fermentation jusqu'à son passage dans les barriques pour un vieillissement de 12 mois.
Provenant de la cave d'un ancien collectionneur, conservée dans des conditions de température et d'humidité constamment contrôlées, cette pièce est dans un état absolument impeccable et constitue un véritable joyau pour les connaisseurs et les collectionneurs.
Note de dégustation : Un rouge juteux aux arômes et saveurs de cassis, de prune noire et de chocolat léger. On y perçoit même une pointe d’écorce. Quelques notes toastées, des arômes de fruits frais mêlant baies rouges et noires, une touche de tabac et une structure moyennement corsée, avec des fruits denses, des tanins crémeux et mûrs, une belle fraîcheur et une longueur en bouche remarquable, dans un profil classique du Médoc, digne d’un long vieillissement en cave.

Il vigneto di Château Greysac si estende sull'Hameau de By, uno dei Médoc più settentrionali di questa penisola vinicola, alla confluenza dell'estuario con l'Oceano Atlantico. Il vigneto è gestito con la massima cura e vanta standard qualitativi impeccabili. Composte da ciottoli rotolati risalenti al periodo quaternario su un sottosuolo calcareo e argilloso, qui i vitigni Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc e Petit Verdot danno vita ad un vino grandioso, elegante e straordinariamente strutturato, con aromi fruttati, ampi e voluttuosi.
La storia centenaria della cantina Greysac si racconta poi nell'arte della vinificazione, con l'obiettivo di rivelare il frutto nella sua espressione più bella, dal suo arrivo nei tini di fermentazione fino al passaggio nelle botti di invecchiamento per 12 mesi.
Da ex cantina di un collezionista, sotto costante controllo di temperatura ed umidità, il prodotto ha condizioni davvero IMPECCABILE ed è un vero gioiello da intenditori e stessi collezionisti.
Nota degustativa: Un rosso succoso con aromi e sapori di ribes nero, prugna scura e cioccolato leggero. Anche un po' di corteccia. Alcune note tostate, note di frutta fresca che fondono frutti rossi e scuri, un po' di tabacco e un corpo medio, ma con un frutto denso, tannini cremosi e maturi, una spina dorsale fresca e una buona lunghezza in un profilo classico del Médoc degno di essere invecchiato.
