“Viñedos del Río Sisseck” is the personal project of Carlos del Río Oriol, owner of Hacienda Monasterio, and Leonora Sisseck, daughter of the famous winemaker Peter 'Pingus' Sisseck.
The two were married in June 2021, where King Frederik & Crown Princess Mary also attended.
Here they received a vineyard as a wedding gift from Peter Sisseck.
It covers a plot of 0.5 hectares and is located right next to one of the two Pingus vineyards.
This 2021 is the first vintage - and will be bottled at Pingus itself in June 2023.
