Bottle of Champane Ruinart Cuvee Baron Philippe de Rothschild Reserve Bicentenaire Brut dated 1955, extremely rare bottle in perfect condition in every respect

The Rothschild family has long been involved in the Champagne industry. It all started after the Second World War when Philippe de Rothschild was solicited by the Ruinart family to help them save their champagne house financially, resulting in him signing a 40% deal in favor of The Baron. Baron Philippe de Rothschild's first labels were produced and kept within the Rothschild family. Then in 1963 Ruinart was sold to Moët & Chandon. Philippe de Rothschild remained on the board for a short time before stepping down and transferring the investment to Chateau Clerc Millon in Pauillac. This is the first known example of Dom Ruinart Cuvee Baron Philippe de Rothschild Reserve on the market, worldwide

A rare collector's bottle that every lover would like to have in their selection
