The Bodegas Benjamin de Rothschild & Vega Sicilia project was born in 2004 as a result of a joint venture between Vega Sicilia and Compagnie Vinicole Baron Edmond de Rothschild. Both companies share the idea of making good wines in La Rioja, a unique, unique, incomparable wine growing region. After five years of terroir evaluation and the acquisition of 92 ha of vineyard, the project takes shape in 2009 with the first vintage of the two wines: Macán and Macán Clásico.
Note that only 135 bottles of this double magnum are made per year..!
