Unico is a fantastic and completely unique wine and the flagship from Vega Sicilia, which is among the world's most recognized winemakers.

2006 is a special vintage as it was released a year after it was actually supposed to be (2017). The winemaker believed that the potent 2006 harvest required more time and thus did not release the classic 10 years after harvest as they are used to with Unico.
When it finally hit the streets, the result was outstanding, garnering the best reviews since 1962. Suckling and Guia Repsol (Michelin of Spain) both gave 99 points.

Unique wine that is approaching an open drinking window or that can be stored for decades to come.

Bought on release and perfectly stored since in temperature controlled cellar.
