Feist Vintage Port 1963

Last sold for € 142 (approx. DKK 1,050). at auction 16/10 2020. Soon 60 years old. 1963 is considered one of the finest vintages of the 20th century. Fully mature now after 57 years. 17p / 20 on VintagePort.se, which has tasted it 4 times, no later than 2018.
Feist was for many years among the most famous in Denmark, founded in London 1836 by H. & C.J. Feist, two German cousins. In 1921 a nephew took over the management, but in 1953 the house was bought by the Barros Almeida family, who in 2005 became part of Sogevinus, which also has i.a. Kopke, Burmester, Càlem, Hutcheson and other houses.
Stored in the bottom of wardrobe for over 40 years. Nice condition for the age.
