For 10 years, the giant duo spent on buying topsoil with 40-year-old Tempranillo vines in western Rioja, where cool Atlantic air provides grapes and wine with true Bordeaux sophistication.
The result is a Rioja of finest drawer. Refined on new French barrique and 5% American oak barrels from Vega Sicilia's own coop.
