The wine is of course made 100% on Sangiovese Grosso and is stored for 24 months in large, French and Slavonic oak barrels of 600 and 1200 liters and then 2 years in bottle before being sent to market. The very intense bouquet is filled with aromas of ripe, black fruit such as blackberries and black cherries and touches of spices and forest floor, the taste is concentrated and well-balanced with a touch of minerality in the long finish. Decant it for 1 hour before serving.
