Biondi Santi Tenuta Greppo Brunello Riserva 2015

Brunello di Montalcino Biondi Santi Riserva is the first "Brunello" to be produced. This rare wine is made from grapes from the oldest vineyards of more than 25 years, and is only released in very limited quantities in particularly good years, on average every 4 years since 1888. In the middle of the cellar at Tenuta Greppo is a dark room, hidden away from the world, dedicated specifically to Riserva. The room is called "La Storica", the wine library, and it is where Biondi-Santi carefully refines the bottles for every Riserva vintage ever produced.

Refined, deep, fresh and well developed. Hints of balsamic, flowers, elegance and minerality.

The wine is aged 3 years in Slovenian oak barrels and 13 years in the bottle
