(Jos. Christoffel jr. Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Auslese ***) AP: 03 07. This is still aromatically restrained and only gradually reveals superbly fresh notes of white flowers, wet stone, smoke, yellow peach and incense. Even though its nose is still on the shy side, the wine is extremely expressive on the palate! Yellow fruits, honey and more exotic flavors kick in and give the wine a gorgeously rich and creamy texture. The finish Is hugely long, yet retains this great sense of lightness and freshness that has made the reputation of this Estate. This is a classic Würzgarten in the making! 2026-2056
