There are far and wide between the wine producers who produce equally good red wines as white wines, but Jean-Marc Boillot is one of those rarities. Jean-Marc Boillot learned his craft from his grandfather Étienne Sauzet, and he gained further experience when he became director and winemaker at Olivier Leflaive in 1984. In 1990, his mother, who was the only child of Sauzet, passed the estate on to her 3 children and, no doubt spurred on by the confidence he had gained working for Olivier Leflaive, Jean-Marc spun off his share and began running his own business. Today he runs the company with his daughter Lydie and son Benjamin.
