Hard to find bottle of Barolo Francesco Rinaldi 1948 in almost perfect condition in every respect

Francesco Rinaldi is an ancient and prestigious winery located on the Cannubi hill, the most famous in the Barolo area. Founded in the 19th century by Giovanni Rinaldi, the cellar was inherited in 1922 by his son Francesco, who gave it his name. Since then, his bottles of Barolo have been present at the tables that have made the history of our country: for example in 1949, during Italy's accession to the Atlantic Pact. The management of the winery subsequently passed into the hands of Luciano and Michele, Francesco's sons, and today the business is carried on by Paola and Piera, who have been able to expand the market abroad too: in the United States above all, but also in the North Europe and the East.

The vineyard of the Francesco Rinaldi winery extends with south-east exposure for 11 hectares in the municipalities of Barolo, Castiglione Falletto and La Morra, among the most important of the denomination. Rinaldi wines bring together the richness of the territory: they range from the compact and marly soils of the Helvetian period in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, to the more clayey ones of the Tortorian period present in La Morra. And in Barolo you can find limestone, clay and sand, which give the wines balance, harmony, color and typical aromas of the territory
