Matarromera Reserva 2020 is a classic and impressive example of a Ribera del Duero wine, where 100% Tempranillo grapes express the region's rich terroir. Presenting a deep dark red color with violet hues, this wine opens with intense aromas of ripe dark fruits such as plums and blackcurrants, complemented by complex notes of cedar, vanilla and spices from the aging in oak barrels. In the mouth, a soft and full body is experienced with well-integrated tannins and a perfectly balanced acidity. The taste offers an elegant interplay of fruity notes and spices, which leads to a long and persistent aftertaste with a hint of chocolate and light smoke.
