Note from Wine Advocate for the 2020 vintage (95P). Crafted from Pinot Noir grapes 100% destemmed and matured in barrels (10% new), Jérôme Bretaudeau’s Statera reveals an elegant, profound bouquet with aromas of smoke, cherries, licorice, menthol, fresh tobacco and gentian. The palate is medium-bodied, combining succulent tannins, fine acidity and well-integrated oak with impressive substance on the finish. It needs a couple of years in bottle, but you can already see the potential. This wine has the potential to outshine many well-known Burgundies. Bravo! No shipping outside EU!
