At the Castello della Sala winery in Umbria, the Antinori family makes some of the country's absolute best white wines. Their most famous is the top wine Cervaro called "Italy's Batard Montrachet", but their biggest coup for the prize must be little brother Conte della Vipera; a breathtaking blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon reminiscent of a Grand Cru from Bordeaux. But the price is completely different! An exceptionally good buy.
