When you say sweet Riesling, most people think of Mosel, but nearby is also Nahe, where some fantastic wines are produced, and Dönnhoff is probably the most recognized producer from here...
Oberhäuser Brücke is one of the best vineyards in the area, and therefore it is also one of the most beautiful Spätlese that Dönnhoff produces. 2008 may not be the greatest vintage, but when it comes to such a good producer and terroir, it only means that a Spätlese with its relatively young age is perfectly ripe for drinking now!
