Pierre Girardin (PVG) storms forward and is already on the way to becoming difficult to catch.

He is best known for his white wines, but you mustn't sleep on his red wines, which also show a high level.
Hans Pommard is lively and bright and can easily be drunk now in the fine 2017 vintage, but may still benefit from cellaring for a few more years.
