Capsico Rosso 2001 vintage, one of the historic and most representative wines of the Zaccagnini winery, produced in the Pescara hills (Abruzzo).

Capsico Rosso is made from hand-picked Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, selected to express structure, depth, and the ability to evolve over time. The winemaking process is traditional, with lengthy aging in wooden barrels, followed by a prolonged period in the bottle, making this wine particularly suitable for aging.

After more than twenty years, the 2001 Capsico Rosso presents itself as a mature wine of great historical interest, with an evolved aromatic profile: sweet spices, undergrowth, leather, tobacco, and jammy black fruit. On the palate, it is structured, with melted tannins and a long, enveloping finish.

Capsico Rosso has always been considered one of Zaccagnini's flagship wines and has received important recognition in the main Italian guides over time, consolidating its reputation among enthusiasts of long-lived wines.

The 2001 vintage is now difficult to find on the market, making this bottle particularly interesting for collectors and enthusiasts of older vintages, looking for uncommon and non-replicable wines.

Bottle from a private cellar, stored at a stable temperature.
Wine intended for informed tasting or collection.
