Produced exclusively in the best vintages from selected vineyards, it is typically composed of approximately equal parts Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The producer emphasizes a style of great finesse and precision, focusing on complexity, depth and the ability to develop over time. 1995 was a vintage with generous growing seasons and good ripening conditions, which has resulted in wines with solid structure and balanced acidity. The wine is aged for a long time on the lees before disgorging, which contributes to its characteristic creamy texture and layered complexity. Further aging in bottle has given this vintage well-integrated secondary and tertiary nuances.
