The flagship wine of the Aquintania portfolio is the Lazuli Cabernet Sauvignon. After a hand-pick in the vineyard, pre-fermentative maceration in the winery takes place for six days prior to an innoculation with yeast. It then spends 16 months barrel-aging in new and used oak.
Prior to Lazuli, the flagship was known as Paul Bruno Cabernet Sauvignon between 1993 and 2000. After a 20 year hiatus, the Paul Bruno has been re-released alongside the Lazuli as a limited edition.
