Sperss is made exclusively from nebbiolo from Serralunga d'Alba, and belongs to the Barolo DOCG. 2011 was relatively warm, which has given a dark, fruit-driven style with rounded tannins and good availability already now. Early ratings from Vinous and Wine Advocate, among others, place the wine among the best of the vintage.
Stored in humidity and temperature controlled cellar since release.
